The Board of Directors of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development held its third meeting for 2017 at the headquarters of the Arab Authority in Khartoum during the period 20-21 September 2017. The meeting was chaired by HE Mr. Mohamed bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, Chairman of the Board, and President of AAAID.
The agenda of the meeting of the Board included a number of important topics related to the investments of the Arab Authority and the Board took a number of decisions, including the decisions to approve the capital increase of some companies in order to enable them to utilize the full productive capacity. These include; Arabian Company for Preserving and Manufacturing Agricultural Crops (Egypt), White Nile Sugar Company (Sudan), Arab Poultry Production and Processing Company (Sudan).
The Board also adopted a decision approving the contribution of the Arab Authority to the fish farming project in the Sultanate of Oman and a decision approving the initial contribution to the project of an integrated factory for the extraction of soybean oil in the Sultanate of Oman.
