Joint cooperation opportunities in the field of investment in the agricultural sector in the United Arab Emirates, the focus of the coordination meeting between AAAID and the Emirates Development Bank to enhance food security in the UAE. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of AAAID Board of Directors, received a delegation from the Emirates Development Bank on Monday, January 15, 2024. The delegation was headed by Mr. Shaker Zainal, Head of Small and Medium Enterprises Management. Dr. Al Zaabi provided an overview about AAAID, and its activities, investments, and efforts in achieving Arab food security. He also learned about the activities of the Emirates Development Bank and its efforts in economic development in the UAE, particularly in financing small and medium projects in various sectors, including technology, healthcare, alternative energy, and industry, with a special focus on food security. It is worth mentioning that AAAID and the Emirates Development Bank are founders and contributors to the capital of the alrawabi uae Company.
