His Excellency Mohamed Bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, President of AAAID received His Excellency Mohamed Amin Al Karib in AAAID’s regional office, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the United Arab Emirates on Sunday 7/1/2016. The President welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador and provided an overview of AAAID’s programs and activities in the various sectors. The two sides exchanged views on areas of collaboration and coordination between the two bodies to stimulate AAAID’s role in the Republic of Sudan. His Excellency, the President expressed that the importance of AAAID’s role is increasingly important with the growing food gap which requires a collaborative approach to increase agricultural production in the Arab world. He pointed that Sudan possesses the required resources to achieve Arab food security and is expected to be a global in the agricultural scene.
From his end, His Excellency the Ambassador thanked the President for his warm welcome and stated that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen partnership ties between AAAID and the Embassy of the Sudan to support the latter in achieving its mission and vision and overcoming challenges facing the reinforcement of Arab food security by increasing agricultural investments in line with initiative of His Excellency The President of the Republic.
