His Excellency Mohamed Bin Obaid Al Mazrowei –President of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) accompanied by some of heads of departments, has inspected the Arab Poultry Production and Processing Company in Taiyba Al Hassanab (a town located in the south of Khartoum)
The visit comes within the visits program to the affiliated companies in order to enhance and develop the performance of these companies.
His Excellency Al Mazrowei has listened to a brief on the progress of implementation of fish farm project inside the company as one of development programs to diversify the products by benefiting from wastes of poultry production.
He also briefed on the current works in the infrastructures of the company.
Most notably that the work in the fish farm started in April 2014, the fish farms based on the docks dirt in an area of 10 acres to cultivate tilapia fish indigo and catfish and the calf, the farm hopefully expected to produce 150 tons per year in the first level.
On the other hand Mr. Al Mazrowei witnessed the harvesting season for date crop in the palm farm which belongs to the company. The farm produces varieties of dates such as Berhi and Knezi.
At the end of the visit his highness Al Mazrowei extended his thanks and appreciations to the general manager of the company Eng. Mohamed Abbas and the heads of the departments.
