AAAID is keen to create strong relations with the private and public sectors with the goal of contributing to the reinforcement of Arab food security and elevating agricultural investment in Sudan and all Arab countries.
In this context, His Excellency Mohamed Bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, AAAID President participated in the events of the German-Sudanese Business Forum. The event was organized by the Sudanese Ministry of Investment in collaboration with the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany on 1-2 December 2016. His Excellency commended Sudan’s status on both global and regional levels and highlighted that the country was ideal for investment in the agricultural sector. AAAID’s participation was during the second session and His Excellency the President gave an introductory presentation of the authority’s existing and future projects in the field of agricultural food processing, food security and investment. H.E also presented the investment opportunities available in AAAID’s established companies and received investment opportunity proposals that are currently being developed or in the preliminary study or evaluation phase.
AAAID’s participation comes within the context of supporting Sudanese-German investment relations and creating wider economic cooperation horizons. Further AAAID aims to strengthen communication between Sudanese and German businessmen and attract more German companies to invest in the Republic of Sudan.
