To enhance communication and deepen strategic partnerships with governmental entities and the private sector, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development participated in the third edition of the Communication and Partnership Forum, organized by the Emirates Development Bank in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. The event was held on April 29, 2024, in Sharjah – United Arab Emirates. The forum aimed to foster cooperation between governmental bodies and private sector companies to propel national economic growth and diversification in the UAE. AAAID participated in the second panel discussion titled “The Importance of Partnerships for Sustainable Development,” where it showcased its distinguished experience in financing small farmers and producers using modern technologies and advanced systems in investment projects, which have been transferred and generalized in several Arab countries such as the Republic of Sudan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It was also mentioned during the discussion that AAAID contributes to 52 companies and projects, by the end of 2023, including 37 existing companies and 15 projects under establishment and execution. At the conclusion of the forum, an honorary shield was presented to AAAID in recognition of its pioneering efforts in supporting agricultural development and building strategic partnerships.
