On March 8, 2021, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) organized a virtual meeting for its affiliates on the occasion of International Women’s Day, with the participation of all departments and the Arab Authority’s employees.
During the meeting, His Excellency H.E Mohammed bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, President of AAAID gave a speech in which he explained that the world is celebrating this day as an expression of the importance of women in society as they represent half of society, highlighting his appreciation and love for their social, economic and political achievements.
It is worth noting that the female employees represent 35% of the skilled and specialized cadres with in the Arab Authority.
During the celebration, an awareness lecture was presented on a number of important pillars, including time and life management, and the role of women in managing crises. Different success stories were also presented, in which women were the cause and influence of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of work.
