Since its establishment, AAAID has established several leading research stations in a number of Arab countries. The purpose of these stations is the preparation and implementation of applied agricultural research projects that meet AAAID’s affiliated companies’ investment and development needs that are overseen by AAAID. The research stations also develop and implement plans and programs to transfer agricultural technology and utilize it in the agricultural sector in a manner that increase agricultural productivity.

The research activity adopted by the AAAID has achieved a number of honorable achievements and can be summarized as follows:
- Introduction of new varieties of vegetables in non-traditional all of Sudan, Mauritania and the Comoros, which has proved its success and adapt in such environments and their productivity in commercial quantities found acceptance among domestic consumers.
- Transfer and resettlement of rice cultivation with integrated technical package in the Mauritanian countryside on the Senegal River.
- Contribution in the biogas project (in cooperation with ACSAD).
- Contribute in the project of converting palm waste to animal feed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in the UAE and UAE University.
- Contribute to the development of date palms through the Hamraniya Research Station- Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment – United Arab Emirates.
- Contribution in the pilot commercial production of a pesticide against red palm weevil (in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development).
- Implementation of pilot experiments aimed at introducing farmers to modern technologies and training them to use them.
- Introduction of high yield crops (strawberry, broccoli, etc.).
- Off-season production in the open field in summer for important crops such as onions, melons, peppers, cowpea and others, in addition to production in refrigerated green houses for crops such as tomatoes and cucumbers.
- Cultivation of food security crops such as potatoes.
- Reproduction and localization of soybean crop.
- Program of propagation of improved varieties of maize.
- Cultivation and manufacture of silage in Sudan.
- To spread, transfer and settle the tillage system in Sudan and Arab countries.
- Adoption of modern irrigation methods (axial irrigation, longitudinal irrigation, drip irrigation, hydroflume irrigation).
- Localization of the cultivation of fodder crops in high salinity lands.
- Using solar-powered irrigation pumps in agricultural projects.
