On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) held its first Board of Directors meeting for the year, chaired by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board, and attended by the esteemed members of the board.
The meeting discussed several important topics related to the AAAID’s investments and projects, as well as the follow-up on the implementation of previous board decisions. Additionally, the recommendations of the Executive Committee, the Investment Committee, and the Audit and Risk Committee were reviewed.
Key topics addressed during the meeting included:
• Reviewing the external auditor’s report and approving the audited financial statements for 2024.
• Approving the 2025 investment operations program.
• Approving the AAAID’s corporate identity.
• Collaborating with the Skills Academies Initiative (Digital School) as part of the AAAID’s commitment to social responsibility.
• Discussing strategic plans to enhance performance and achieve objectives.
