In order to discuss further investment opportunities with the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, HE Mr. Mohammed bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, President of AAAID, accompanied by a delegation from the Arab Authority, visited the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period 10-11 October 2018.
During the visit, His Excellency Al Mazrooei, the President of AAAID met with His Highness Sheikh Khalid Al Kahlifa, Deputy Prime Minister in Bahrain, where HE Al Mazrooei gave a detailed explanation on the investments of the Arab Authority in Arab countries. This is in addition to its efforts to enter into agricultural investments in the Kingdom of Bahrain in cooperation with the private sector, especially in the field of poultry and fish.
For his part, Sheikh Khalid welcomed the President of AAAID and his accompanying delegation, stressing that the contribution of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Authority demonstrates its keenness to be present in the scenes that would support the joint Arab action in order to achieve food security for Arab countries. His Highness further praised the Arab Authority’s efforts in contributing to the reinforcement of Arab food security and affirmed his support and guidance to provide all facilities for the investment of AAAID in the Kingdom of Bahrain to benefit from the expertise and experiences of the AAAID, especially in the field of fish and poultry.
