Established nearly 50 years ago, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) is an Arab financial investment institution specializing in the field of agricultural investment in its Arab member countries. AAAID companies are commercially managed according to professional investment standards. They aim to achieve sustainable development in the Arab agricultural sector through the establishment of agricultural companies and private sector partnerships. In 2019, the AAAID’s assets amounted to approximately USD 1.3 billion. Among its many achievements are the Arab localization of agricultural technologies, improvement of agricultural production quality and expansion of the agricultural sector.
