AAAID has established 10 leading innovation and agriculture research stations with a view to conducting applied agricultural research in order to strengthen research and development activities and increase agricultural productivity. These stations are operated by qualified agronomists and their research findings are disseminated throughout the AAAID’s companies and the communities in which it operates. Through these stations, AAAID aims to use innovative techniques to support the needs of companies, develop crops and implement schemes for the transfer of modern agricultural technologies.
This station supports the activities of the Arab Company for Agricultural Production and Processing. It aims to support traditional and non-traditional fodder crops, such as maize, Laredo and Panicum maximum and silage production.
This station supports the activities of the AAAID Coordination Office in the Comoros (Bandasmilini). It conducts research on traditional (Tomato, Carrot, Lettuce...etc.) and non-traditional vegetables (Broccoli, Red Cabbage….etc.) and field crops.
